I've just returned from the Children's Book Council of Australia Conference in Melbourne, which included inspiring guest of honour talks by Shaun Tan and Neil Gaiman, plus a lot of other interesting sessions. I will post more about this on Writer Unboxed next time it's my turn.

French rights sold: Subject to confirmation, the French language rights to Daughter of the Forest have been sold to the publisher L'Atalante. This will be good news for all those readers in France and Canada who have been asking me about French editions of my work!
