For readers in the Edinburgh area who are not on my Facebook Fan Page – I will be in your part of the world very soon. I’m attending Worldcon in Helsinki from August 9-13, then I’m heading to Scotland for a couple of weeks of combined holiday and intensive writing time. I have set up an informal meet and greet in Edinburgh on Thursday August 17 from 2-3pm in the cafe at Waterstones Bookshop in Princes Street.

The event is completely unofficial, not sponsored by Waterstones or by my publisher, and it will be small (10 people attending at this point.) Just a cup of tea and an hour’s chat. I will have some bookplates and bookmarks to give away, but I won’t have books for sale, sorry.
